Chapter History

The Cypress TX Alumnae Chapter was founded in 2009 and we average about 35 dues-paying members annually. We are a diverse group of women from a variety of collegiate chapters which span the country.  From busy business professionals to educators to stay-at-home mothers, we are a fun-loving group of sisters who work together to live out the founding principles of Zeta Tau Alpha. We have members from the Cypress, Houston, Spring, Tomball, Montgomery and surrounding areas. 

We have a variety of opportunities for you to volunteer your services to the Fraternity and within our community. Our chapter supports the Texas A&M, SFA, and The University of Houston collegiate chapters through donations and our study basket fundraiser. Our chapter also participates in the Texans Crucial Catch game and conducts a holiday toy drive from a local hospital.

We have been recognized for our efforts as a chapter.  We've received the following awards: Best Lil Chapter in Texas, Crown Chapter, Founders Club, Top 5 Alumnae Contributors to ZTA Foundation.
